Meet Nettie

Nettie Berkeley is an artist, instructor, and creative entrepreneur living and teaching on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Through her artwork and classes, she shares a lifelong passion for creativity, connection, and the transformative power of art.

Inspired by the beauty of New England's coastline, Nettie draws creative energy from the seashore, sand dunes, marshes, and natural landscapes that surround her. While watercolor remains one of her favorite mediums, her artistic practice extends to acrylics, oils, mixed media, jewelry design, and the creation of unique artful treasures using natural fibers, found objects, and materials gathered from nature.

Nettie believes that creativity is both a form of self-expression and a pathway to well-being. Her passion for healing through the arts has touched students of all ages, from Cape Cod to the West Coast. She teaches from her home studio classroom and enjoys helping others discover confidence, joy, and inspiration through the creative process.

As Co-Founder of the Teen Artists Coalition of Cape Cod (TAC), Nettie helps provide innovative and engaging art enrichment opportunities for teenagers across Cape Cod and the Islands. Known for its creative, unique, and edgy approach, TAC offers workshops that encourage artistic exploration, self-expression, and community connection.

A native Oregonian, Nettie has always been drawn to both mountains and coastlines. Her curiosity, love of learning, and enthusiasm for exploring new artistic techniques continue to inspire her evolving body of work and teaching practice.

Nettie offers classes, workshops, private instruction, Paint Nights, and customized creative events for individuals, groups, businesses, and organizations. Whether you're interested in a Paint Night, a crafty bachelorette gathering, a bridal shower, birthday celebration, family event, or a custom workshop, Nettie would love to help bring your creative vision to life.
